The way you've cut the center square looks as if you're looking through a kaleidoscope. I'm not sure what's going on with your block except that I did notice one of my long sides did end up 1/4" too long. When you get the heating pack, check out the corners, you'll see what I mean.

I think it's hard to get all those seams to come out exactly perfect. Did you use the fancy flying geese tutorial that Jennifer posted the other day? That's what I used for mine since they were all the same.

Regardless, I realy love how your block turned out. It's so difficult to see when corners don't match up, especially after quilting and washing. I get upset when my corners don't match but after all that hard work, I just try to let it go because I don't want to make the block over again. I understand your frustration and I'm proud of you for letting it go. :)Crystalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16246323377929476660noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4967132325525540220.post-58884674993032746012010-03-02T06:01:52.128-08:002010-03-02T06:01:52.128-08:00I like it too and I couldn't see any of the th...I like it too and I couldn't see any of the things you were talking about! I'm stunned at how beautifully pieced this is! I think you did an awesome job on it! And the pinwheel blocks are just perfect.

Pat yourself on the back, 'cause I think you're awesome!Deehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11367663127351652530noreply@blogger.com
