What a gorgeous quilt that would make! I am planning a late summer/early fall trip to Washington DC and Gettysburg. Until then, I hope to sew, sew, sew, go to drive in movies with my husband, and visit with my son while he is home from college. Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to San Francisco later this month after I take one more exam. I am soooooo close! Your giveaway fabric is very pretty!
ReplyDeleteWe're having a baby any day now so I guess all the fun depends on how things go in the next few weeks!
ReplyDeletewe are planning some day trips if our little one is willing :)
That Joann's fabric is so fun. I'm hoping to sew as much as possible because I haven't gotten much done the first six months of the year. And spending time (even though it will be working time) at our rental cabins at the lake.
ReplyDeleteMy parents are planning to visit for the whole month of August. They come all the way from Holland, so this is very exciting for me and the kids :) Also for them since our kids are their only grandchildren!
ReplyDeleteIt will be so much fun, and I will get a lot of time to quilt with my Mom.
Thanks for a great give away!
I just discovered your blog the other day. I am a little jealous of your daughters' 'navy freedom' ;)
My summer is being spent at weddings and 30th birthday parties!
ReplyDeleteLiving on a farm...my summers are being spent bush hoggin', cannin', and doing farm-like things! And that's just the fun stuff! Actually, we'd planned on going down to the beach, but the Alabama beaches are just a bit too oily for us, so I guess we'll be spending our free time in the pool!
ReplyDeleteLove the fabric, btw! Great giveaway!
Oh how pretty! My summer is being spent with family visits (my brother and his family just left after a two week visit) and hiking every weekend (or so). I also plan on doing some work inside the house - maybe a bathroom remodel. Oh, who am I kidding? It's cocktails on the back porch for me in between hikes and bike rides.
ReplyDeleteI'm teaching a English as Second Language class to Chinese Jr. High students. I've had my first day with them, and it's going good!
ReplyDeleteI love the fabric. This summer I am just going to stay home and enjoy my family. Thanks for the give a way
ReplyDeleteMy family is getting ready for a trip to the Regional All-Star Softball Tournament in Vancouver Washington at the end of this month to watch our 11-12 year old girls play! Our daughter made the team...and we are very excited!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity to win some very pretty fabric.
hi!
ReplyDeletewhat a nice blog you have here! i discovered it some while ago, i think you are very funny and talented.
i already had half of my summer holidays in mid June and I spent them sewing. the other half of the holidays will be in august, and my husband and I and our dogs will head to Algarve, in the south of Portugal, where my parents have a beach house. too bad it's the touristic season and we won't be able to take our dogs to the beach like they love. i'm sure i'll be at the beach missing them terribly, because now going there sans dogs is not fun anymore.
i'll try to talk my husband into taking the sewing machine with me so between beach trips i'll sew. eheheheh
