A Wedding Quilt

One of the wives in my Officer's Spouses Club got married back in May. I made her a quilt as her wedding gift and I FINALLY finished it!
She had told me her favorite colors were Navy and Yellow and when I came across Dear Stella's Lola fabric, I knew it would be perfect for her.
My original plan was a Sparkle Punch Quilt, but it was so much work and I've been so busy with baby quilts, donation quilts and then this, that the Sparkle Punch was just way too big of a commitment at this time.
I still love how this turned out though because it's got the stars and some patchwork, which I love.
She loved it and that makes me happy!
Quilt stats:
Fabric: Lola by Dear Stella
Measures: approx. 65"x75"

  1. that is gorgeous! The sparkle punch quilt is also on my list but I feel it is a daunting task at the moment.... I find there are quilt patterns that you can start and stop and then get back into without missing a beat... I feel like the sparkle punch quilt is something that you have to see through to the end otherwise you'll forget where you are...
