Travel Trailer Interior Makeover

I haven't been sewing that much lately. BUT… I wanted to improve the interior of our travel trailer, so that's what I've been working on for the past couple weeks!

We haven't camped in over two years until Memorial Weekend. We decided to go local since there are some fantastic Nebraska State parks all so close. It was a blast! But when we got back I got busy!

Here are some before (stock) pictures of our trailer:

Ok, seriously…what team of people get together and come up with this ugliness?

I couldn't take it anymore! I removed the ugly wallpaper border; removed all the metal blinds and replaced those with room darkening roller shades; took off the god awful valance-cornice thingys and replaced with curtains; removed the ugly privacy curtain for master bed area and replaced it with a pretty curtain; recovered the dinette cushions and sofa; and made some throw pillows.

I love it now! I still want to make some sort of valance for the small kitchen window, but it's a small window and don't want to obstruct too much of the view. Plus it's right above the sink and oven so I decided against curtains. It does have the roller shade though.

I feel like this is much more "me" and can enjoy it a bit better when camping. We leave this Friday for a week and I'm super excited! Our first stop is Chadron State Park in Nebraska which is the first state park in the state. Then we are heading North to hit the Black Hills National Forest in South Dakota which is a part of the country I've never been to.
