Up for grabs is 6 fat quarters and 2 fat eighths of Classic Winnie the Poo fabric. Leave a comment about your favorite family vacation. Whether it be when you were a child or something you like to do now with your family. I'll draw a winner Thursday April 15th. Good Luck!
WOw to be first not a good sign oh well. Thanks for the opportunity Jen, I adore Winnie the Pooh and it seems like "Baby Season" in our family at the moment. I used to love going on holidays to the West coast of NZ with my parents and sister when I was young. For years we always stayed at the same motel but it never became borning, we played board games and as a holiday treat we went out for a meal to the local hotel. It was such a big thing 35 odd years ago.

Not looking to win, 'cause you've been so sweet to me already, so give Deb #1 commenter my comment if you want. LOL
ReplyDeleteJen, you're just so sweet and I really do love your heart!
Ohh I love Winnie the Pooh (I'm just a big kid at heart). My best holidays were to Galway in the west of Ireland. There was lots of cousins and we all shared one room sleeping in a row on the floor and had midnight feasts and swam in the sea everyday in the rain!!
ReplyDeleteMine was going to summer camp every year. We always stayed at a mountain chalet, with no phone, no TV, etc. Even when I was a child, I liked the simplicity of getting back to nature. I can't wait to take my kids there!
ReplyDeleteYellowstone! I love Yellowstone. Only been there twice but I can't wait to go again. It's like another planet!
ReplyDeleteThe family vacation I remember most vividly was the time I went to Mammoth Caves when I was about five. I got my first camera and took my first (really bad) photos and was scared of caves and bears the entire time.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great bundle of fabrics! My 3.5yr old would LOVE these (his favorite bedtime stories are the original Pooh stories). He is also a huge factor in one of my favorite family trips: Scotland through little eyes - trains and planes were never so enthralling! and I will always remember the consideration and thoughtfulness of the residents of Edinburgh
ReplyDeleteMy favorite vacations are the two tents, the nine kids (yep, I have 9), and not real far away. Hiking along rivers with camping. Mmmm...smelling bacon cooking over the fire in the AM. And, relaxing with a handquilt project. Just getting away from home with my sweeties.~
