Blogger's Quilt Festival

I decided to play along...
Amy's at it again hosting her wonderful Blogger's Quilt festival
I love it because I always find new blogs to follow and get to see so many beautiful quilts.
It always inspires me too!

My entry is the Saltwater Taffy Quilt that I offered up for a silent auction.
You know, the one that earned the school a whopping $21
You can read all about that fiasco here.
Fabric: various from my stash
Pattern from Rachel of p.s. i quilt found on Moda Bake Shop

  2. This is a beautiful quilt, with wonderful fabric. I just read what happen why it's a $21 quilt. What a terrible thing! I know what it's like to make something for a silent auction and have it not bring in much. Once I didn't like the small amount bid on one that I donated to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, which had great meaning to me; so I bid on it myself at a much higher amount and got to take it back home. You didn't even get a chance to do that. But you still did a good thing.

  14. OMG. Beautiful quilt. Nightmare story. We just had a fundraiser at work and I remarked how cheap people can be when it comes to charity. I mean, come on, people, it's for charity, play fair!
